Year 3 of the Kyrie Irving Experience is shaping up to be the best yet. They’re going to need a few breaks to go their way – not getting injured for prolonged stretches would be nice – but regardless of whether the Cavs makes the playoffs or not, we are going to be in for another season of wondering what Irving’s ceiling is and why the hell is Nike not pulling the trigger yet and giving him a signature shoe. Alas, we will have to wait another season to find out the answer to that (he’s a sneaker free agent after this season so there’s a lot of scenarios in play) so we’ll have to settle for watching him burn unfortunate teams like the Charlotte Bobcats in Nike Hyperdunk 2013 PEs. Not that that’s a bad thing, but we could handle a few more colors than wine and gold, Nike, just saying….
