Good Luck Getting Your Hands On The Nike Kyrie 2 Duke PE

Although Kyrie Irving played a grand total of 11 games for the Duke Blue Devils, Duke University is still considered his alma mater. For that reason alone Kyrie stays showing love to his school. His latest way of showing love is by hooking up the school with another PE version of his signature line. Today we take a look at the Nike Kyrie 2 Duke PE.

This Duke PE version of the Nike Kyrie 2 comes in an all-black upper that takes care of the Hyperfuse construction. Breaking up the tonal look of the shoe is the white Nike Swoosh on the heel, the Kyrie logo on the tongue and the blue translucent outsole. The feature of the shoe that really stands out is the DUKE lettering placed on the heels of the shoe. Don’t plan on picking these up anytime soon since we’re almost certain that these will never hit retailers.

If you can pull it off, more power to you. In my opinion the look is a little too much, but that’s just me though.

The Vachetta Tan looks clean on the KD 8 EXT, the only part of the shoe I could do without would be the orange hits on the sole and the white accent on the heel.

I like the deconstructed look, it’s very minimal but it looks great on the Stan Smith. Great work by adidas.

HYPEBEAST's Top 10 Posts of the Week

While we are guilty of shining the spotlight on Kanye West's endeavors more often than not, this week saw him ousted from his spot in first place by an Internet phenomenon that came entirely out of left field. Announcing the premiere of his "All Day" music video, offering free Yeezys, and unveiling the name of his next album (for now), 'Ye was joined by the familiar faces of Drake, Chief Keef and A$AP Rocky in our top 10, but all were ultimately subdued by the flash-in-the-pane "Damn, Daniel" meme that unambiguously took the Internet and pop culture by storm in the past week. Ellen DeGeneres was able to act fast in inviting them to a TV interview, nabbing our most viewed post this week in the process.

adidas Ultra Boost "Berry Heel"

Arguably adidas' most popular running shoe in recent memory, the Ultra Boost is set to release in another drool-worthy, tonal makeup for 2016. The latest rendition of the Three Stripes' innovative, max-cushioned silhouette features a familiar all-white treatment on its Primeknit uppers, accented only by a subtle, Berry heel counter that adds some nice visual contrast. Coupled with the famed fit and feel of the German brand's premier running shoe, this well-executed colorway should garner its fair share of attention when it releases later this year. Take a look at the adidas Ultra Boost "Berry Heel" here and stay tuned for further details.
