Behind The Scenes with adidas Originals, A-Trak and Run DMC
In a traditional hip-hop romantic of 'old meets new', adidas Originals has brought together Run DMC and A-Trak as a part of their Unite All Originals campaign. Aside from the artists' different contexts, the campaign makes sense. Run DMC has a long-standing relationship with adidas following the release of a certain 1986 single, that which helped bring hip-hop into popularity, while A-Trak has played an integral role in meshing rap with electronic music. The two parties have been certified 'original' by adidas, who is cooking up a special project involving both. While we wait for the project to unveil, enjoy a brief clip where A-Trak and Run DMC both detail their relationship, how their work overlaps, and what it means to be an artist today.

adidas Originals 2013 Fall/Winter CNTR Pack
Having revived its 1984 Centaur model earlier this year with UK sneaker house size?, adidas Originals returns with the CNTR Pack for the Fall/Winter 2013 season. Its original lightweight, breathable design was meant to support runners on the road and other hard surfaces by preventing over pronation as well as over supination. Fast forward almost 30 years and the sleek mid ‘80s runner maintains its lightweight concept, yet sees the addition of welded synthetic nubuck overlays and an upgraded mesh exterior. The three sneaker CNTR Pack will include tonal colorways in blue, yellow and red. Expect to see each at select adidas Originals retailers in the coming months.
