As part of its extensive drop this year, adidas Originals pays homage to esteemed professional skateboarder and artist, Mark Gonzales with this special Mark Gonzales x adidas Originals Superstar 80s.
Noted as an influential individual not only his peers but worldwide, Mark Gonzales’ work ranges from poetry books to sculptures and paintings, in addition to his talents on the board. These gifted elements inspire this latest Superstar silhouette with its serene all-white leather makeup symbolizing a blank canvas for the artist. A clean and classic design accented with a few subtle creative touches such as debossed hand lettering on the tongue and a signature character on the heel tab, ‘GONZALES’ is prominently seen across adidas’ hallmark three stripes branding to top it off.

adidas D Rose 5 Boost “Brenda” (Official Images + Release Date)
Previously dubbed as a “Chicago Bulls” inspired colorway, adidas officially unveiled the latest adidas D Rose 5 Boost which is fact another “Brenda” edition of the silhouette.
As with all previous “Brenda” iterations, this particular pair pays tribute to Derrick Rose’s mother to celebrate her favorite color – Red. Somewhat correlating with Valentine’s Day as well, the model sports a bright Red woven upper with an embellished print of the D Rose logo and stars, both of which were inspired by Chicago’s state flag.
Further complemented by a Gray and Black speckled Fit Cage and translucent Red outsole equipped with full length Boost cushioning technology designed for maximum comfort and performance, look for this new D Rose 5 Boost “Brenda” edition at adidas retailers starting February 5th for $140.

Release Date: Neighborhood x adidas Consortium Superstar “10th Anniversary”
The celebration of the iconic Superstar continues with this latest Neighborhood x adidas Consortium Superstar “10th Anniversary,” which joins alongside our previously featured Union collaboration, in addition to alignments with UNDFTD and Adi Dassler from last week.
Previously working on an “Aztec” variation this past Fall 2014, renowned Japanese label Neighborhood, known for its effortlessly cool streetwear sensibilities with a level of high-fashion sophistication, joins forces with adidas once again, this time to produce a special 10th anniversary edition. Flaunting a classic and timeless Black and White palette, the low-top model receives a crocodile-style leather upper with tonal Black three-stripes branding on the sides, while resting atop a clean White sole unit, which continues along its signature shell toebox.
Topped off with Neighborhood’s skull and crossbones logo on the heel, as well as a customized logo on the heel tab, finishing details include White inner lining and matching laces. Priced for $250, expect this Neighborhood x adidas Consortium Superstar “10th Anniversary” to release at select adidas retailers starting February 7th.

adidas ZX Flux "Can't Stop"
Following the adidas ZX Flux in "Place Holder," another iteration of the silhouette has been revealed. This time, the "Can't Stop" print features more random geometric shapes à la the "Place Holder" iteration, but in a monochromatic fashion with a light neon yellow-green outsole for contrast. The adidas ZX Flux has completely abandoned the Three Stripes branding in effort to further creative graphic and print aesthetics, hoping that the silhouette will be enough to identify the shoe and brand.
