adidas Originals 2014 Fall/Winter ZX FLUX ´000 OG Weave Pack

For all its efforts in modernizing the ZX canon, adidas Originals pays homage to two of the original releases from 1989 with the "'000 OG Weave" pack – featuring the ZX Flux Weave. Drawing influence from the launch colorways of both the ZX8000 and the ZX9000, it seems no small coincidence that a triplet of '0's precede the "OG" in the pack title. The "Aqua" blue colorway takes cues from the original ZX8000 – executed with tonal blue and yellow hints around the upper – while the other model blends pale turquoise with red and white accents per the ZX9000. While both sneakers are meant to nod to retro paneling, either version is designed with a singular, breathable woven jacquard upper, which rests atop the re-tooled Torsion midsole. Look for the 'ZX8000' version to release globally on August 1, with the ZX9000-influenced shoe following on September 5.

adidas Originals ZX FLUX ZERO “Metallic Silver”

After first unveiling the ZX Flux and ZX Zero last season, adidas Originals is back with a hybrid of the two silhouettes, the ZX FLUX ZERO. Debuting in a metallic silver colorway, the shoes feature a patterned Flux textile upper sitting atop a white AdiPrene sole. Simple accents to the package include reflective silver stripes and matching grey leather panels with white stitching, and a white tongue with matching laces.

Currently available for pre-order through select shops including Aphrodite 1994, the shoes are priced at £95 GBP (approximately $160 USD) and are due for release sometime in August.
