adidas Originals Unites Run-DMC and A-Trak
OG hip-hop masters Run DMC team up with A-Trak for the latest campaign from adidas Originals. Uniting for the latest "Unite All Originals" piece, the New York-set video features Joseph "Run" Simmons and Darryl "DMC" McDaniels as the players in an interactive music video set to an A-Trak beat. Using everything from voice commands to a variety of visual effects, viewers can customize the video and even trigger special effects and animations. Designed to the specifications of Lionel Messi’s blinding quickness, the adidas adizero F50 TRX cleats are touted as the fastest football boots in the game. Its SPRINTSKIN upper is a revolutionary single-layer synthetic material that offers an incredible feel for the ball whilst reducing weight. Combined with SPRINTWEB, a SPRINTFRAME construction and a TRAXION 2.0 stud configuration, this signature model offers superior stability for a maximum grip on even the slickest of pitches. Having recently brought a red, white and blue colorway to its webstore, adidas presents the above promotional video that captures Messi’s lightning quick footwork through a custom suit with LED lights attached. Along with a pair of bespoke, LED-adorned F50s and matching football, the star athlete was filmed at 1000 frames per second using a Phantom camera for an awesome visual effect.

Coming this fall from adidas is the adizero Adios BOOST Pure, a lifestyle version of the adizero Adios BOOST. The Adios BOOST Pure retains all the performance features of the inline Adios BOOST but ups the style quotient with clean colorways that only serve to highlight the slick silhouette. Two colorways will be available at the start: black/black/red and tech beige/running white/cinder. The black/black/red colorway features airy, black mesh upper with black, synthetic overlays and glossy black stripes and heel clip. The revolutionary BOOST midsole appears in white with hits of black and red on the outsole. The tech beige/running white/cinder colorway features the airy, mesh upper in slick beige colorway with tonal overlays, white stripes and a glossy cinder-colored heel clip, all atop a white BOOST midsole with black tread.
