First Look At The Air Jordan Spike 40 Low

Jordan Spike 40 Low 1 Jordan Spike 40 Low 2

The Air Jordan Spike 40 made its debut last Fall to very little fanfare due to its high price point and lackluster design.

Now Jordan Brand and Spike Lee will be taking a second shot and hoping that fans will embrace the low-top version of the hybrid silhouette. Here is our first look at the Air Jordan Spike 40 Low that essentially uses the same design as the high with the only change being that the top has been dropped. This colorway above features a white upper with blue and red detailing sort of similar to this pair of the OG. Fans of the silhouette should be glad to see that the Mars Blackmon 40 Acres and a Mule lace lock has been left on this low-top pair that also comes with an icy blue translucent outsole.

There is no exact release date but you can expect these to release during Spring/Summer once the weather heats up a bit more.

Author’s Take

I wasn’t a fan of the original mid/high and I’m not a fan of this low-top version either. This was not a good idea by Jordan Brand to create this pair.
