Ever since Boost technology came into the scene, it has always been dressed in an all-white motif. As Boost model sneakers got more and more popular many were wondering when and if adidas would ever release shoes with a colored Boost. After what seemed like an eternity of waiting, our prayers have been answered as the adidas NMD Triple Black will become the first shoe with a Boost midsole coming in a color other than white.
You’ve all seen the NMD before, the only major difference on this pair is that it comes with a black colored Boost midsole unit. The rest of the shoe features an all-black upper that includes the branding, laces, lining and the blocks that are attached to the upper and the midsole. Japanese branding appears in white and is located on the midsole and heel tab. Additional white can also be seen on the lining of the sock-like upper. Set to drop in the near future, let us know what you think about this new look on the adidas NMD.
Author’s Take
It’s about time adidas released Boost midsoles coming in colors aside from white. This is definitely a game changer. 2016 should be a good year for adidas Boost sneakers.
