Damian Lillard stars in the latest in a series of recent adidas commercials dubbed ‘Creators Never Follow’. The commercial celebrates creators/athletes who seize the opportunity to redefine their sport. They manage to create and defy norms for their team, for their city as well as for their millions of fans all around the world. The film encapsulates adidas’ vision of inspiring athletes to celebrate every moment in their profession as an opportunity to create, redefine themselves and ultimately lead, and never follow.
Lillard goes on to say:
“This message truly shares who I am. I put in work on and off the court and focus on what I can control every day to create my path. You’ve got to be willing to take risks and gamble on yourself. It just comes down to believing in your vision and never letting outside noise worry you.”
Damian Lillard is on a mission to build his own legacy on the court and also prove that he should never be doubted. He also took the time align the message of the commercial with his #4BarFriday movement.
