Chinese New Year is quickly approaching (February 8th) and adidas is getting ready to roll out their collection that features a heavy dose of red kicks. The Three Stripes will be releasing a handful of different Tubulars to celebrate including the original Tubular, Tubular X, and the newest Tubular Doom.
Today we get a closer look at the Tubular Doom from the group courtesy of some new on-feet shots of the shoe. This ravishing red sneaker features an all-red mesh upper with croc textured leather panels on the side panels, toe, and wrapping around the ankle for a more appealing look. The red laces have also been outfitted with gold aglets for another pop while a white Tubular sole and a Year of The Moneky logo embossed on the heel wrap things up.
Look for the Chinese New Year adidas Tubular Doom at select adidad retailers later this month.

Author’s Take
When the extended sock is covered up like it is in these pictures the shoe looks much better. This red colorway definitely turns heads and the croc skin leather is also a nice touch.
