It seems like adidas’ efforts on their lifestyle/Originals category has been focused lately on the plethora of Tubular models that are and will be releasing in 2016. But we can’t forget about ZX Flux which is one of the silhouettes that can be credited for the current surge of the Three Stripes.
With NBA All Star Weekend quickly approaching adidas plans on using the Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights as the theme/colorway for the big sneaker release weekend. We’ve already seen the all-new Crazylight Boost 2.5 covered in a mix of purple and teal and lime green as well as the D Rose 6, and now the ZX Flux gets the same treatment. This Flux uses realistic imagery on the versatile upper to create a tree line with a colorful blue, green and purple night sky as the backdrop. The signature heel counter is translucent and may glow-int-the dark too. It’s also important to note that this is a ZX Flux Decon silhouette.

When I think of the Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis theme this is what I picture it looking like. Gotta love the graphic upper that adidas put on this ZX Flux.
