Take A Look At The Extremely Rare adidas Originals Superstar 80s Metropolis

adidas continues to celebrate the year of the Superstar with exclusive colorway of the classic silhouette.

The Superstar 80s that you see above may just look like a plain grey colorway, but this version of the shelltoe is a lot more limited than you may think. Known as the Metropolis colorway, this Superstar comes with an all grey suede upper that has even been included on the shelltoe. The color on this Superstar 80s is meant to resemble concrete and blends in perfectly with the modern city architecture that we see all around the world today.

There will only be 1,000 pairs of this Superstar available worldwide and each pair will be individually numbered. Look for the adidas Originals Superstar 80s Metropolis to release this Friday, November 13th at select adidas retailers.

Author’s Take

To me this is just a simple grey suede Superstar 80s. I understand that for hardcore fans of the silhouette this may be a much more meaningful and exclusive sneaker, but I don’t see anything special.
