No one is ever going to admit it, but anybody who either scored a pair of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Moonrock or was interested in buying for the sake of rocking them all had one thought in their mind:
What am I going to wear with these?
It’s perfectly natural to feel this way. Nobody wants to admit to being style conscious; they all want to prove that they are above the hype. But then you see the pictures on social media and all of these Yeezy Boosts are matched with outfits that took hours to prepare with the angles and filters that added even more time to process. #KillTheHype indeed…
Over here at #SneakerFits, we don’t care if you’re looking to create the most “real” look with your kicks or if you’re just browsing and looking for ideas to wear with your Boosts. It’s all about informing the community and giving them something to work with. If we helped point you to the fit that you are eventually going to wear, then we did our job. And by “our job”, I mean Director of Operations RAC put together these outfits and I wrote the words for them. It’s a team effort so enjoy this edition of #Sneakerfits featuring the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Moonrock.
Outfit 1: The Yeezy Season 1 Look
Total Cost w/o Kicks: $322
Washed Olive KITH Lexington Hoody ($145)
Black Zespy Militia Pant ($109)
White John Elliott Expo Tee ($68)
Similar to our SneakerFits feature on the adidas Yeezy 950 boots, we wanted to offer a cheaper alternative to the obscenely expensive Yeezy Season 1 collection. If you bought the Season 1 versions of these items, chances are you’d be spending in the thousands. This keeps you in the lower hundreds and maintains that apocalyptic wasteland aesthetic that you might want to replicate.
Outfit 2: Who’s Kanye West?
Total Cost w/o Kicks: $508
Black KITH Bucker Anorak ($225)
Blue Cheap Monday Jeans ($75)
Black Zespy Pant ($109)
White/Grey Zanerobe Shirt ($99)
Now, would Kanye wear a white short-sleeved shirt with cut-off denim and a jacket when it’s cold outside? Sure (I had to do a google image search just to make sure, and yes, Kanye has worn a white short-sleeved shirt with cut-off denim and a jacket when it’s cold out), but so would most of the people that you know. It’s a basic look that you can probably already pull off with the wardrobe that you already have and it makes your 350 Moonrocks truly stand out.
