Under Armour Is Making Magic Happen To Generate More Revenue

Let’s face it. Under Armour is slipping, at least by a little. It seems as though UA is popular up until a certain age and then it’s all Nike, adidas, Jordans, etc. Well, the big brains at the office have come up with another plan to sky rocket profits in a matter of three years.

Last month, management revealed that the goal is to reach $7.5 billion, a 142% increase from the $3.1 billion mark they reached last year. How are they going to do it? Well, just like every other brand, Under Armour is taking it to the apps.

With already 150 million registered users, Under Armour will be tightening up production on their Connected Fitness apps, a plethora of social networks for fitness enthusiasts. The app helps your track and plan your workouts, but also gives you access to UA’s e-commerce platforms. By 2018, UA is estimating to make $200 million from the app alone. So, who’s going to start downloading?
