The latest version of the adidas T-Mac 5 is taking it back by being inspired by the original commerical that helped debut the sneaker. Let me explain and tell you how this “fire infested” version of the adidas T-Mac 5 came into fruition.
This colorway of adidas T-Mac 5 was inspired by the part in the commercial you see above where Tracy McGrady literally catches on fire and proceeds to do his thing on the hardwood. The part of the commercial where T-Mac catches fire is definitely one of the most memorable parts, which is why they’ve decided to make a colorway out of it. The adidas T-Mac 5 will come with an all-over fire graphic print upper as well as a flame logo on the tongue. Adding a bit more of the commercial touch on to the shoe is the “But he’s on fire,” quote placed on the backside of the cross-strap. The adidas T-Mac 5 “Flame” is set to be limited to only 1,172 pairs that are currently available only in China.We still don’t know whether this will release in the states, but if they do we’ll be sure to let you know.

I actually think the shoes looks dope. The flames/fire on the upper are done really well and give the shoe an original look. I never thought I’d like a T-Mac 5, but this colorway is actually pretty fire (no pun intended).
