adidas pays tribute to the most successful number 10 in soccer history, Lionel Messi, with the super limited edition Messi 10/10 cleat. To be released worldwide on October 10 every year, the cleat will only see 100 pairs produced each time. For this initial iteration, the Messi 10/10 sees a black upper embossed with the Team Messi motif across the forefoot, and emblazoned with Messi's number 10 in gold on the heel. Meanwhile, the signature MessiFRAME and GAMETRAX architecture dominates the silhouette in electroplated red and gold. On the day, 89 pairs will be on sale to the public exclusively at the adidas Barcelona store, while 10 pairs will go to players in the adidas Backed by Messi campaign, while the remaining pair will become the property of Messi himself. All pairs will be made in Messi's shoe size of 8.5 only.
