Newly crowned NBA Champion and one half of The Splash Brothers, Klay Thompson ditched Nike this past February and decided to take his talents to China-based brand ANTA.
I guess he saw the success that Stephen Curry is having with Under Armour and he wants to make a name for himself with another brand, because there’s no way he would have been able to do that with Nike. Just ask James Harden.
Earlier today Klay and ANTA officially unveiled Thompson’s first signature sneaker with the brand, the ANTA KT1. The shoe comes in a Golden State Warriors-inspired color (not really) that features a textured upper, a graphic inner liner and an outsole traction pattern that looks like it’s inspired by the anatomy of the foot.
There’s no information at the moment regarding a release date or a price, but we’ll let you know that information hopefully soon.

It’s a good thing Klay decided to leave Nike. He was never gonna get his own signature sneaker there anyway and ANTA probably threw more money at him. Why not right?
