First Look At The Porter x adidas Originals Stan Smith “80th Anniversary”

 

Japanese luggage experts, Porter is currently celebrating 80 years of existence! That’s a pretty amazing feat that calls for a celebration right? Porter has been doing it big all year long and not they’re about to do it bigger as they have gotten together with adidas to bring a special iteration of the adidas Originals Stan Smith “80th Anniversary”.

Opting to keep it subtle this time around, this collaborative effort will have the Stan Smith dressed in a combination of navy suede along with leather hits throughout the upper. The navy is then complimented by adding bright hits of orange cracked leather  in which you can see on the inner lining of the shoe. The orange hue spotted on the sneaker you easily remind you of the same orange that Porter is used to using in the line of work. Finishing off the look is the set of blue laces along with the off-white sole unit that balances the look of the shoe a bit. This collab is not doing too much but it does just enough to know this is a collab with Porter. The use of orange definitely makes it easy to associate with Porter and for that reason alone I think it’s an above average collab.
