As we approach the NBA Finals and name our NBA Kicks MVP (not that that should be a surprise at this point), let us take a look back at the regular season that was in sneakers and shenanigans involving sneakers. Many experts in the field are quick to point out that this was a bit off-year for heat on the court, what with big names like Nate Robinson getting injured and stars like Rajon Rondo leaving Nike for other opportunities to be a signature athlete elsewhere. But there was still a lot to love from this season and here are our picks for the 10 Most Memorable Sneaker Moments From The NBA Regular Season.


10. Kobe Bryant returns in the Nike Kobe 1 Prelude

Kobe Bryant was a barely a blip on the radar this season, playing only six games and dashing any hopes of an extended partnership between Swaggy P and Black Mamba that would have been full of terrible shots and death stares resulting in the internet breaking from numbers of GIFs made. But Bryant made the most of his comeback by rocking the Nike Kobe 1 Prelude, a retro of his first official signature shoe with Nike. Had he played more, we probably would have seen Bryant wear every show in the Prelude Pack leading up to the debut of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite, but alas, that honor would fall to someone worthy of the opportunity.
