The NBA Finals are well underway and the San Antonio Spurs got things started much how like they did last year with a win in the series opener. The old timers of the Spurs would show the world that they’re not ready to be cast aside as Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili were the biggest contributors to the Spurs win as they logged the game-highs in practically every category. While Duncan and Parker showed up to the Finals in their regular game shoes from adidas and PEAK respectively, it was Ginobili that most sneakerheads were paying attention to because he debuted a new exclusive colorway of the Nike LeBron 11. You know, just the signature shoe of the guy on the other side…
The silver and gold LeBron 11 was actually quite similar to the silver and gold Nike Zoom Soldier 7 that James himself was rocking for Game 1, although apparently Zoom Soldiers or any shoe for that matter can’t stop you from cramping up at the worst possible time…
As for the rest of the night in kicks, Ray Allen wore black and gold Air Jordan XX8 SEs, Norris Cole and Rashard Lewis debuted Finals exclusive colorways of their team shoes, Danny Green stays loyal to his Gloves and much more.
