As you probably know the 86th Academy Awards were this past weekend. This is one award show that normally won’t bring out many sneakers but last Sunday proved different as we got a look at some kicks on Pharrell and Ellen Degeneres. Most of the sneaker community was most likely not focused until they saw the adidas that Pharrell broke out for his performance. This immediately took over Twitter and Instagram as people were interested in the partnership between the hip-hop legend and adidas. If you aren’t the biggest movie critic and the Oscar’s didn’t really relate to you, then boy do we have a treat for you. This is definitely bound to cause some arguments and make some people mad. However, that’s what I am here for, so kick back and grab some popcorn and watch the comments section debate. We give you the Sneaker Oscars, a couple revised categories from the Academy Awards that fits our interest better. Some of the best sneaks from this early part of 2014 will be mentioned, but fair warning, it may not be mentioned in a way you want it to be.
