Commemorating the past four decades of the Three Stripes, adidas recently opened a special exhibition at London's Hoxton Gallery. Dubbed adidas SPEZIAL: An Incomplete adidas History from a Fan’s Perspective, the exhibition is home to 650 of the brand's rarest and most sought-after kicks, as well as a bevy of collaborative designs, memorabilia, and collectibles from over the past 40 years. As the display officially opened over the weekend, everyone from Darryl "DMC" McDaniels to Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown and Primal Scream founder Bobby Gillespie were in attendance to kick off the occasion. The adidas SPEZIAL exhibition opened on July 19 and will remain on display through this Saturday, July 27.
