If you’ve been paying attention to our NBA Kicks recaps for the past few weeks, you’ll notice that Derrick Rose has been pretty active on the court. Well, not Derrick Rose the player; rather, it’s the Derrick Rose signature shoes that has been getting plenty of play from adidas athletes throughout the league. As we continue to hope that Rose is not this generation’s Penny Hardaway (spoiler to haters: Penny wore Nikes), his signature D Rose 4.5 has been garnering attention from the sneakerhead community for their unique striped design and improved playability. From Damian Lillard to Matt Barnes to Ben McLemore, the Rose 4.5 has also been seen in a slew of custom colorways that were made courtesy of mi adidas, the three stripes customization suite.
With the Rose 4.5 available now on mi adidas, here are some samples that we cooked up. Much like our previous efforts with the adidas D Rose 4 on mi adidas, we continue to be bummed by the lack of color options (especially since the possibility is there for so much wackiness with the animalistic stripes), but there all of these kicks would work fine either on the court or out of it for those looking for something different.
